First Time Buying
FIRST TIME BUYING
So today was an interesting day. It is currently 7-17-17. So my day begins with me waking up close to noon as I have insomnia and have a difficult time falling asleep. So when I do it's usually between 3 and 5 am.
So I got out of bed, fed my cat, got dressed and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I knew today was the day. I had been planning this specific day for about 4 days. Ever since my mother gave me a few dollars to take my sister to the store. I knew my brother and sister would be gone by Monday as they don't live with me.
So today was the day I was going to buy diapers for the first time. I had scouted out the perfect pack I was going to buy when I took my sister to the store. So I noticed I didn't have any clean clothes so I had to wash a load.
As soon as my clothes were done in the dryer it started pouring rain. So I had to wait but I couldn't wait too much longer or people would be home. It finally stopped raining at about 5 o clock and just my luck, someone was home.
I formulated another plan. I was going to bring a back pack so it just went with my outfit and matched the long board I was riding. And then I could hide them in the backpack. So around 6 I grabbed the book bag and my board and rode to the store.
I waited patiently for the store to become nearly empty with only one other old man in the store. I made my move. I grabbed the pack and walked up the counter almost visibly shaking. I was stuttering noticeably but for the most I kept my cool.
I told the cashier it was for a science experiment and me and my friends were testing the absorbency and then using the rest to do the egg drop test and she bought 100%. I quickly skated home and threw my book bag on my bed and locked my door and opened up the package.
Well just my luck they were too big. Now I'm not a small guy. I'm about 6ft and about a 40" waist and these things are still really big. But it's not too big a deal, they still fit. They have the tapes on the sides as I have never tried these kinds of diapers before and even though they are a bit big I have never felt better.
I have already drank three water bottles and big can of tea and I'm going to hold it until it hurts. I'm really testing these things. I've also never messed in a diaper before and I kinda want to try that as well. I've heard some great stories about how sitting in that warm, mush feels really good.
Well that's my story. I know it's nothing special but it was one of the most exciting days ever for me.
