WHEN I WAS 5
I was 5 that summer. I wore diapers till age 4 and missed them. Pampers had came out with new thicker more absorbent and bigger diapers. I wanted to wear diapers again so I started wetting the bed at night and my pants during the day.
My mom had a beauty shop where the garage use to be. My mom knew what was going on and told me all I had to do is ask and she'd put me back into diapers. I said I miss being woke up to having a diaper change. I also missed the baby powder and diaper on my bottom. I loved to hear the loud crinkly noise the diaper made when I walked.
She put me in plastic pants under my shorts and we went to the store. This was in 1975. She bought 4 boxes of Pampers toddler diapers which were for day and night time use.
She laid me on a bench in the middle of the store and pulled off my wet pants and plastic pants. She powdered me and diapered me while everyone stared at me but I didn't care at all.
I loved being in my Pampers diaper. I wore Pampers till age 6, then LUVS till age 9 and then I wore a bigger diaper for older children. I still wear diapers at night and they are thick plastic and crinkly like back in the good ol days.
