THE CAR ACCIDENT
Hi my name is Al. Ever since I was 11, I was always fascinated by diapers. I looked up sites where people told stories about wearing them, and even looked up sites about the actual brand I wanted. But I never actually wore them as I wanted to. But I never got the courage to tell my Mom about my feelings.
3 years later, when I was 14, I was going to the mall with my Mom. We were getting off of the highway, when as soon as we turn into traffic, another car swerves into us and we collide head on. I woke 17 hours later in a hospital.
A doctor was standing over me and told me what had happened. The car that had hit us was driven by a drunk guy. My Mom wasn't hurt in the crash at all (thank God), but I had taken some of the impact.
The muscle in my bladder that controls my sphincter had been ruptured. I could no longer control where or when I peed. That's why I was in a diaper. I didn't believe him until I looked under my sheet, and all I saw was a sopping wet, yellow tinted diaper.
My mom and step-dad then burst into the room, happy to see me awake and alive. However, I wasn't focusing on them. As happy as I was to see my mom healthy, I was also happy to be finally in diapers.
My parents then told me they were suing the drunk driver $10,000 for car repairs, and $1,000 in medical bills and $500 for the cost of my diapers I was going to need. I was discharged from the hospital the next day.
My Mom took me to Wal-Mart to buy me a 100 pack of Depends Adjustable Disposable Diapers. I rested for the next week, then went back to school. I had picked up a few tricks online about how NOT to get my diaper noticed.
So my days were normal, except for gym, where I had to wear my shorts under my normal clothes. When I needed to be changed during the day, I either went to the nurse's bathroom, or went inside stall and locked the door.
Daily life went on normally, and my parents weren't rude or obnoxious about it. They for the most part acted as if it were normal, except if my diaper really stunk, they would tell me to go change. I made it through my 9th grade exams, and went on to summer.
Only two of my friends found out about my diapers, and with the exception of the occasional joke, they were cool about it. I had mostly gotten used to diapers, the only negative part being occasional leaks and carrying around a diaper bag.
My parents ended up winning the lawsuit, so my diaper funds would be covered for a while. After school started up again and I was in 10th grade, the $500 was gone, so I had to get an after school job to help pay for them.
By this time a few more of my friends found out, but no a**holes knew so everything was ok. Best of all though was that through a terrible accident, my greatest wish came true.
